General conditions and indications for the attendees of Workshop and Events of Balboa, Baby!
The general conditions and indications for the attendees of Dance Workshops organized by Balboa, Baby! are the essential and binding part of the contract-registration between the organizer and the individual who registered to the respective workshop. If you do not sign this document (and thus do not agree with the terms) you will not be able to attend the event!
By accepting the terms and conditions, you agree to become a supporting member of the “Balboa, Baby!” club for the time of the event. Your membership is not connected to any duties or rights exceeding this particular event. Your membership is valid for the rest of the ongoing calendar year and will automatically expire thereafter.

By registering to the respective event or workshop, each individual is expected to pay the adequate fee within the deadline. In case the registration fee has not been paid before the event or workshop, the attendee must pay the fee at the time of the event or workshop before the start of the event or workshop according to the pricelist valid on that day. The attendee is responsible for all bank transfer costs.

Covid related Rules
Alas, the pandemic is not over yet. Our main goal is to keep our activities as safe as possible and to avoid that you are getting sick. However we cannot guarantee that no infections will happen during our events. This is why we need to work together and are calling for your self-responsibility as a dancer and person.
So to ensure a maximum safety, we have the following request and rules:
We are strongly asking all participants to test for Covid-19 prior to entering our venues and classes.
We as Vienna organisers/teachers are testing for Covid-19 once a week (PCR) plus once before heading off to teach our classes.
For VBLE, a negative PCR-test (≤ 48hrs) or Antigen-test (same day) is a mandatory requirement to be shown at check-in and before entering our venues.
In addition, we kindly ask you to always follow good hygiene – it’s always worth to look at WHO’s recommendations.

In all cases: If you feel unwell, develop a fever or show any symptoms related to Covid-19, please stay at home!
And if you test positive after attending classes, please inform us immediately.
In case of denouncements of events, Balboa, Baby! will return the fee by below scheme:
- for all denouncements prior to 1 month before the event we return 50% of the paid fee
- for all denouncements between 30 days and 14 days before the event we return 30% of the paid fee
- for all denouncements later than 14 days before the event we return 0% of the paid fee.
If doctor’s notice is presented we return 100% of paid fee.
The organisers have all the rights to change the time, location and price of the workshops and of the evening dances.
Purchased tickets are issued to the registered person and non-transferrable.
We will offer workshops for various levels – if your chosen level turns out to be inadequate, we will find a solution on a best-effort-basis. Please read level descriptions carefully before registering.
In our workshops, we will change partners on a regular basis – as this improves your dancing. Attendees can however opt out on spot and keep their partner during classes (not recommended, we mean it).
Also, it may happen that there are extra dancers in workshops – idle times may occur for extras, and we try to minimize this on a best-effort-basis.
All workshops and social events are held in public spaces. Photographs and videos may be taken at these occasions and Balboa, Baby! may publish such photographs or videos without additional express consent of the participants. Balboa, Baby! will not use such photographs or videos for purposes other than documenting or promoting the activities of the organisation. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your image being taken at one of our events, please contact us in advance.
Injuries and Thefts
The organisers will not be held responsible for any physical injuries or thefts that might occur in the time of any workshop.
Code of Conduct
By signing this document the attendee is bound to behave in accordance with the general rules of conduct and with the existing Austrian laws – all while respecting the house rules.
Valid Law and Jurisdiction
The terms of service shall be governed by Austrian law.

By signing or clicking on the General conditions for the attendees of the respective workshop at the registration via internet you state that you fully agree with the content of this document and will obey all the rules and regulations.
We collect personal information from you through the use of enquiry and registration forms and every time you e-mail us your details. We also collect information automatically about your visit to this web site. The information obtained in this way, which includes demographic data and browsing patterns, is only used in aggregate form.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
We process personal information collected via this web site for the purposes of:
- Providing a personalised service
- Providing you with information about the workshop you registered for.
We also may use information in aggregate form (so that no individual user is identified):
- To build up marketing profiles

Payment Method and Cancellation Policy
Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal, Bank Transfer
Automatic Cancellation Policy: Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 10 days.
Buyer is responsible for payment though PayPal or bank transfer after receipt of the invoice. Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 7 days.
Fees, charges, taxes:
Prices include 20% Austrian VAT, where applicable, and all handling, shipping and transaction fees payable by EceteraGmbH. The Buyer is responsible to pay all additional local taxes, customs fees and other charges levied at the Buyer’s location.
We ship worldwide, to the extent possible, limited only by regulatory, policital or factual restrictions (e.g. war regions, remote locations without regular postal service, …).
We will ship articles within one week after receipt of payment.
Please note that currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some restrictions with regard to international shipping apply and not all destinations may be available at all times. These restrictions are updated and modified on short notice. We will verify the availability of postal or other shipping services to your destination before issuing an invoice.
Standard shipping is via the (Austrian) postal service and includes tracking information. If another method of shipment is preferred, the Buyer has to inform Ecetera GmbH accordingly and an agreement as to the method and price of shipping has to be made.
Shipping and handling cost:
The shipping costs include packaging, handling and shipping including tracking information. Delivery can usually be expected within 2-4 working days within Austria, within 7 days within Europe and may take up to 3 weeks for destinations outside Europe.
Further delays are possible due to restrictions and limitations during the Covid-19 pandemic. You may want to verify shipping times with your local postal service.
Shipping fees applicable for up to 3 LPs are:
Austria: € 7,-
Europe (excluding overseas territories): € 14,-
all other destinations: € 27,-
Please wait for our invoice before making any payments – we will verify any shipping costs automatically calulated by Discocs prior to charging any excess rates.
For EU private customers, the standard consumer protection rights apply.
In case the shipment does not conform to the order in regards of quantity or quality, the Buyer needs to notify EceteraGmbH immediately.
We will offer an exchange or refund as is appropriate under the circumstances upon receipt of the returned item(s). Return shipments at the expense of Ecetera GmbH must be made through the cheapest available means.
