This includes, for example, your name, e-mail address, address or telephone number. Information that is not directly associated with your identity (such as IP addresses) is not recorded.
When you visit our website balboa-baby.at, no personal data is collected from you.
When you access our website or retrieve files (e.g. images, PDFs), information about this process, such as
– the name of the Internet browser you are using,
– the website from which you visit us
– the website you visit on our site
– the date and time of the request and
– your IP address
are stored. This data is only evaluated for statistical purposes, i.e. your data is anonymized and is not personal data.
In the following cases, we ask for your personal data, which is used for a clear purpose in each case:
– Registration for courses via our forms or by e-mail
– Newsletter subscription
– General contact/emails/inquiries
If you do not wish to give your consent in these cases, we ask for your understanding that we cannot offer you the respective service, as we need the data we request from you (first and last name, e-mail address, in some cases dance level, city, country, dance partner) in order to provide our services.
The personal data collected is used by us for a specific purpose, i.e. to provide the desired products or services or for statistical evaluations.
Your personal data will not be used for any other commercial or non-commercial purposes unless you have given your consent. By submitting your data (e.g. by registering), you consent to the storage, processing and use of your personal data for a specific purpose, which may also be forwarded to companies commissioned by Balboa, Baby! for the purpose of processing your request (e.g. for newsletters).

However, Balboa, Baby! is authorized to provide your personally identifiable information to third parties if required by applicable law, court order or public legal process.
Our website and WordPress
We operate our website within WordPress, a content management system, i.e. a software with which a website can be created and its content managed.
We also use third-party plug-ins within our WordPress system. Plug-ins are subordinate PHP programs that are loaded when WordPress is called up and can thus extend the system.
Some anonymized data and IP addresses are passed on for statistical analysis.
The website itself is hosted by an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Vienna.
We do not actively pass on any personal data to WordPress or third-party providers.
Cookies and tracking
When you visit our website, we use so-called cookies. These are small text modules that are stored on your computer. Cookies are used on our website to create access statistics for the website. You can deactivate cookies at any time via your browser. Videos can also be viewed without cookies. In most cookies, a session ID is written to the cookie. This is not personal data that is stored in the cookie.
However, personal data is stored as part of the newsletter registration process (see “Personal data – collection, processing and use”).
A cookie is also used as part of the cookie notice so that the notice is no longer displayed after clicking on the ok button.
IP addresses
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a numerical code that is automatically assigned to your computer by the respective Internet server provider (ISP) each time you visit the Internet.
Our website collects IP addresses in order to analyze overall information about the number of visitors and the use of the website. The storage of IP addresses is used for statistical analysis of access to the website. First and last name, e-mail address and other data (city, country, partner, dance level, etc.) are also stored in the context of registrations via forms (e.g. contact, course registrations).
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the IP anonymization (“anonymizeIP”) activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (so-called IP masking). Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there before further processing. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). If you want to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website, you should install a browser add-on for deactivation (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). You can find more information here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/181881. You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website by the function “anonymizeIP;” in order to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). This excludes the possibility of establishing a personal reference via IP addresses.
Use of social plugins
On some websites, we offer you the option of sharing the current page on social networks (Facebook, Google+, Twitter). Our icons or buttons in this regard function as external links, so that no information is transmitted to one of these providers without clicking on one of the icons. If you click on one of the icons, you will be redirected to the website of the respective provider and the URL of the current page will be transferred as a parameter. From this moment on, we cannot influence whether or how the providers may use data for analysis. Please read the privacy policies of the respective providers:
